What is a SmAC cycle?

SmAC have a 15 days cycle.

A SmAC cycle is how long a smart ad can run for before it expires. It is not changeable nor manipulated by anyone, thus set in stone (in our case the blockchain). A SmAC cycle is 15 days from the launch date.

Note : A SmAC requires $PPeC to run.

Let define a SmAC coffer, first.

A SmAC coffer is simply the smart ad contract's address which holds $PPeC sent by the promoter to handle all claims.

Let's say a SmAC is launched to handle 30 claims (in other word, reach 30 people) for 120,000 $PPeC/claim, then the coffer (contract's address) will hold 3,600,000 $PPeC or the total amount of $PPeC required to handle all 30 claims.

Okay! now, Let talk about SmAC cycles and states …

A Digest SmAC (cycle)

At launch, a smart ad is called a Digest SmAC. At this stage, a SmAC does not have any $PPeC in its coffer to handle claims.

A SmAC (cycle)

After being funded with $PPeC, a Digest SmAC becomes a Running SmAC or simply a SmAC. Any $PPeC holder with the minimum requirement can claim rewards, at this stage. After claiming rewards, the claimer will be redirected to the promoter's link.

Claimers will have to pay Avalanche gas fee, however, the reward should cover for the gas fee and have more leftover. The Avalanche fees do not benefit the PPeC team.

Warning! It is the claimer's solo responsibility to check any link before claiming the reward provided.

An Expired SmAC (cycle)

After 15 days from the launch date, a SmAC becomes an Expired SmAC. An Expired SmAC has no claimable reward. If it has $PPeC in its coffer, it can only be reclaimed by the promoter (owner).

The promoter has 4 more days to reclaim $PPeC from the smart ad's coffer before it becomes a Bounty SmAC. Reclaiming $PPeC is the only time a promoter has to pay fees, otherwise, there are no fees associated with launching a SmAC other than the Avalanche gas fee.

A Bounty SmAC (cycle)

Once a SmAC has reached 19 days, it becomes a Bounty SmAC, but only if it has $PPeC in its coffer, otherwise, it's a Dead SmAC.

Unlike an Expired SmAC, a Bounty SmAC entire coffer can be claimed by any $PPeC holder with the minimum requirement balance and can also be reclaimed by the promoter.

A Dead SmAC (cycle)

With no more $PPeC in its coffer, an Expired SmAC becomes a Dead SmAC.

A DD SmAC or a Digest Dead SmAC (state)

A SmAC can go from a Digest SmAC to a Dead SmAC, if from the launch date until 15 days have passed the SmAC was never funded with $PPeC.

A Scam SmAC (state)

A SmAC can be tagged as a scam by any $PPeC holder. Once a SmAC received multiple tagging, it is first evaluated against the promotion guidelines. When guilty of scamming, the SmAC will be removed by our team and the entire coffer will go to the treasury.

Promoters of Scam SmAC won't be able to launch new SmAC, not in PPeC 1.0, PPeC 2.0, or other upcoming PPeC Extension projects.

Taggers will have to pay Avalanche gas fee. The Avalanche fees do not benefit the PPeC team.

It is the responsibility of the community to tag any SmAC considered a scam.
