# Token allocation

The PPeC treasury is used to fund research, development, promotions, and token burning.

## Token Supply

### Founder Tokens

Only 10% of the total supply were allocated to the founders.

### Community Tokens

90% of the total supply are available to the PPeC community.

## Treasury Tokens

### Research, development, and  promotions

60% of the treasury will be use to create more projects for $PPeC use cases *(including but not limited to* [*PPeC 2.0*](/ppec-document/using-the-web-site/ppec-2.0.md) *and PPeC Ext)*, and fund a talented team. Promotion includes but not limited to extra $PPeC rewards, and competitions using our [official NFTs](/ppec-document/extras/links.md#official-ppec-nfts-500-collectibles).

### Burning PPeC

40% of the treasury will be used for burning $PPeC by sending it to a zero address and by reducing the total supply.
