Paid Per Click (PPeC) is the first open-source project to successfully decentralize advertising (referred to as DAdvers), a market worth $634 billion in 2019. It does this by establishing a system of incentives between advertisers and their audiences through 'Smart Ads' or 'SmAC'. This project stands out due to its 100% fair launch; there's no venture capital involvement, no pre-sale, and no pre-minting. It began with a starting market capitalization of $1,500.

PPeC has been developed from the ground up and our first objective was to remove the middleman from advertising by bringing together advertisers and their audiences on one platform. By removing third parties, a W3LL protocol is created from which advertisers can use advertising fees to reward their audiences instead, resulting in an increased click-through rate (CTR), with the current average being only 0.90%.
The current way of advertising not only takes advantage of your audience, it also makes them dislike your ads.
Currently, online advertisements cannot run successfully without the approval of third parties such as Facebook, Google, and other tech titans. This severely limits the options available to promoters. These third parties exploit their positions to impose high fees and only approve ads that align with their own values. Furthermore, they provide no incentives for ad viewers.
The PPeC smart system, also known as the W3LL protocol, functions independently of third-party control. Utilizing Smart Ads (SmAC), advertisers can directly engage their audiences and reward them with $PPeC tokens. This not only benefits the viewer but also contributes to the overall interests of the PPeC community.
The second goal of this project is to investigate whether incentivizing an audience can effectively boost their engagement and increase the click-through rate (CTR) to a level higher than 0.90%.
According to Wordstream, a good CTR for Facebook Ads averages around 0.9% across all industries. This means that every single ad out there is losing money!"

Good to know : Before claiming rewards or promoting smart ads, you will need to be a $PPeC holder with a minimum required balance.
There are two main strategies for market participants: promoting and claiming.
Promotion involves the process of launching new smart ads (SmAC) and funding them with $PPeC to advertise a business, an upcoming project, or other ventures.
Claiming is the process of clicking on a smart ad (SmAC) to learn more about the project and earning its reward as a participation incentive.

There are three different ways for our community to benefits from holding $PPeC : burning $PPeC to a zero address, decreasing $PPeC total supply, and claiming $PPeC rewards.
The treasury will allocate 60 percent of its balance for research, development, and promotions, while the remaining 40 percent will be used for PPeC burning events.
From the treasury, 20% will be used for burning $PPeC to a zero address, thus reducing volatility for our community.
Another 20% from the treasury will be used to buy back $PPeC and to reduce the total supply, thus creating scarcity.
$PPeC holders can choose to increase their token holdings by claiming SmAC rewards when available.
